Demolition before a lift is added to a retained commercial building
Adding a lift to a low-rise retained building may require local openings or a larger interior route. The lift supplier and building designer establish the space, structural and installation requirements. Siteforce assesses the specified building-removal contribution, not the lift system or its installation.
Connect the supplier's section to the building plan
Show the proposed lift position on each affected level. Identify the receiving opening, adjacent rooms and the route for the installation work. Where supplier dimensions and building drawings differ, the responsible design parties must reconcile them before a removal boundary is issued.

Floor openings and structural changes follow professional assessment and the required supporting work. An apparently convenient location does not establish structural acceptance. Discuss the reviewed portion through structural demolition.
Assign the work around the opening
Pit construction, new structure, lift equipment handling and installation need their own contractors. Temporary separation, security and any retained access arrangements also need responsible parties. The owner and project team decide how building use is managed during each stage; no universal continued-access promise follows from choosing a compact lift.

Request the reviewed building package
Send Siteforce the location and coordinated drawings, naming the designer, lift supplier and GC. Identify retained circulation and any unresolved support or opening issue. Demolition completion is not approval to use the lift or confirmation that its installation is complete.
