Commercial fit-outs
Concrete demolition inside a planned facility shutdown
A booked shutdown is a period in the facility programme, not proof that the demolition area is released. Connect the defined removal to the specialist preparation before it and the installation work afterwards. Siteforce assesses its accepted building or concrete portion within that sequence.
Locate the removal between two handovers
The facility's appointed specialists address affected process equipment and systems. The project team then establishes which area can be handed over for the reviewed demolition. Following removal, the receiving contractor takes the agreed condition into the next installation stage. The facility controls restart through its own responsible parties.
No part of this sequence implies that Siteforce isolates processes, restarts production or guarantees completion within any advertised shutdown window.
Compare two illustrative sequences
| Upgrade | Demolition contribution | What follows |
|---|---|---|
| Equipment-base change | Specified concrete removal after specialist release | New base or installation by assigned contractors |
| Staff-area refit | Ordinary partitions and finishes within the agreed area | New room fit-out and service work |
The first needs the actual slab/base and engineering requirements assessed. The second can still depend on services crossing from production areas. An apparently ordinary room is not independent merely because its purpose is different.
Test the scope against the workable window
Provide the proposed dates, access arrangements and prerequisite decisions early. The actual area, materials, work route and receiving sequence determine what can be agreed. A reduced window may require revising the project package rather than assuming the same work fits faster.
Use concrete removal for the defined concrete enquiry. The industrial staff-area guide addresses a retained-unit renovation that may not involve the same shutdown programme.
Request the demolition contribution
Contact Siteforce with the upgrade objective, reviewed removal limits, facility contact and receiving contractor. State any specialist release still outstanding. Completion of demolition is one programme milestone; it is not confirmation that equipment is installed, tested or ready for operation.
