Mobile-home demolition and removal planning

Siteforce lists mobile homes within its residential demolition scope. First distinguish demolition of a unit from transporting or relocating it. An owner who wants the home moved intact needs the appropriate transport provider's assessment; towing is not implied by this demolition service.

List the unit and attachments separately

The home, an attached enclosed addition, a deck, steps and the base can have different ownership, connections and removal limits. Put them on one plan with a decision beside each: retain, assess for removal, or handle through another provider.

The authorised property parties should confirm access and any park or site instructions. The unit's address and position alone do not establish authority to remove surrounding improvements or use adjacent land.

Compare three outcomes

Intended resultDemolition discussion
Remove the unit but retain an accepted baseDefine unit/base connections and the retained surface
Remove the unit and selected attachmentsIdentify the addition, deck or steps individually
Clear the agreed footprint for a different useDefine any accepted base removal and the receiving contractor's requirements

Services need their responsible providers' preparation. Available documentation helps explain the connections, but an unused unit is not proof that every supply is disconnected. Use the residential service-record guide to organise that information.

Keep salvage and reconstruction outside assumptions

If particular fittings are to be retained, identify their recipient and handling arrangement before accepting a removal scope. No salvage value or intact recovery is promised. Repairing retained surfaces, installing a replacement home and constructing a new base are separate decisions.

For an illustrative project, the unit and obsolete porch leave while a reviewed hardstanding remains. A second project includes removal of specified concrete as well. The same home type does not make these equivalent packages.

Enquire with the whole footprint

Request a Siteforce assessment with the location, unit description, attachments, service status and intended endpoint. Flag any concrete-removal scope separately. Acceptance, timing and access are assessed for the actual property; no same-day or transport promise is made.
